  2. Make a well in the center and add the beaten egg, water, and milk.
  3. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 5 to 7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough back into the bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Divide the dough into 6 equal portions and shape them into balls.
  7. Roll each dough ball into a flat circle or oval approximately 1/4 inch thick.
  8. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  9. Cook each naan for 2 to 3 minutes per side until puffed and golden brown spots appear.
  10. Brush the warm naan with melted butter or ghee.
