
I'm Aveline Sinclair, founder of RecipesCrock and a self-taught baker with over 14 years of hands-on experience developing and testing recipes from scratch. I've created and refined hundreds of baking recipes, from golden biscuits and soft dinner rolls to everyday cakes, cookies, and no-bake desserts. Each recipe is tested multiple times until the result is reliable, beginner-friendly, and repeatable by anyone.
My passion for baking grew from a deep love of homemade comfort food and kitchen creativity. My early years in the kitchen were filled with failed experiments as much as successes. Those failures became the foundation of my philosophy: baking should be simple, reliable, and joyful for everyone, not just experienced cooks. I created RecipesCrock specifically to help home bakers skip the guesswork, avoid the most common mistakes, and follow recipes that genuinely work the first time.
My core specialties are breads and rolls, biscuits and cookies, and everyday cakes and desserts. My work at RecipesCrock also covers quick recipes, no-bake treats, and wholesome options for health-conscious bakers. I've contributed to cookbooks and digital recipe publications, and my debut cookbook is in development.
Every recipe I publish has been personally tested and verified. Standard equipment, everyday ingredients, real-world time constraints. When a recipe appears on RecipesCrock, it has earned its place.

When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll often find me behind a camera lens. Food photography allows me to capture not just the dish, but the feeling it creates, warmth, nostalgia, excitement. Sharing those visuals across social media has connected me with a global community of bakers and food lovers, reminding me that great baking has a universal language of their own.
I’ve poured my creativity into several cookbooks, where I’ve expanded on my love for home baking across every category. Each book blends tested recipes, storytelling, and inspiration, designed to empower anyone, from novice bakers to seasoned cooks, to explore new flavors and techniques with confidence.
What I value most isn’t just recognition, it’s the trust and feedback from the community. Every comment, photo, and shared baking story fuels my passion to keep creating. I’ve been fortunate to have my photography and recipes featured in digital platforms, but the real reward is knowing I've helped someone create a bake that lights up their kitchen.
